Dr Reagan Brosnan

Dr Reagan Brosnan is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon who performs surgery on hand and wrist, shoulder, hip, and knee. He performs reconstructive and arthroplasty surgery.

 

Dr Brosnan completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at Queensland University in 1999. Dr Brosnan completed his Orthopaedic Advanced Training and obtained his Fellowship for the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2009 in Queensland, finalising his training at the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital Tertiary Institution. Dr Brosnan has been committed to servicing his patients in both private practice, based at the Peninsula Private Hospital, and a Public Appointment at the Redcliffe District Hospital, where he acts as a visiting medical officer. Dr Brosnan also travels to Mount Isa on a monthly basis to service rural patients.

 

Dr Brosnan has performed in excess of 1,000 carpal tunnel decompressions and trigger finger releases. Both Dr Brosnan and Dr Carter are dedicated to each patient's well-being and ensuring the patient has a full resolution of their hand symptoms.

Dr Murray Carter

Dr Murray Carter is a Queensland University graduate with more than twenty years of experience in General Practice.

 

He studied at the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in his early post-graduate years but decided to enter General Practice instead. Throughout his General Practice years, he maintained his interest in Orthopaedics as a Surgical Assistant on a weekly basis. Dr Carter closed his General Practice in 2009 to enter full-time hospital practice in Orthopaedics which he continues today.

 

Dr Carter has wide experience in all areas of Orthopaedics with a special interest in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Trigger Finger Surgery and looks forward to helping his patients with these problems.
